I currently serve as a Co-Chair on the Investment Manager Forum. Additionally, I have participated in a Fax Eradication Panel and am actively involved in organizing the Emerging Professionals Focus Group for ISITC.
What do you consider to be the top benefits of being active in ISITC?
Being active in ISITC has provided me with valuable networking opportunities, professional development, and increased visibility within the industry. Additionally, it has contributed to my personal growth by developing leadership and communication skills. Overall, it’s been a valuable investment in my career.
What is your role at American Century?
As a Middle Office Operations Manager, I oversee the end-to-end execution of corporate actions and proxy voting processes. My responsibilities include ensuring the accurate and timely processing of corporate action events and aligning proxy voting activities with client directives and regulatory obligations. This role requires careful attention to detail, effective collaboration across teams, and a strong awareness of potential risks to ensure smooth operations and safeguard client interest.
What do you find most exciting with your current focus at American Century Investments?
What I find most exciting with my current focus at American Century is the opportunity to engage in problem-solving and discover ways to enhance efficiencies for both my team and the organization.
