ISITC is comprised of thousands of individuals from numerous companies worldwide, including asset servicers, broker/dealers, asset managers/owners and solution providers. Our mission is to support global securities operations, to promote Straight Through Processing throughout the industry, to develop standards and market practices designed to enhance efficiency, and to use the combined expertise of its members to address developments within the industry.
These standards range from transaction initiation/confirmation through settlement and subsequent downstream processes for corporate actions, reconciliation and securities lending. In addition, the organization focuses on a variety of products and transaction types including OTC Derivatives, Repos, Factor-based Securities and Transfers. ISITC market practices are widely adopted by the industry and enable efficiency gains for the entire community of users.

- Influence the direction of industry initiatives to achieve greater efficiencies in your firm and throughout the securities industry.
- Unlimited number of member firm employees participating through Working Groups, Forums, Committees and Conferences. Members are invited to contribute their expertise to ongoing discussions and resolutions that involve some of the most significant issues in securities trade processing.
- Members only access to Working Group and Forum documents and discussions, recorded webinars, and information on the ISITC website.
- Members may be eligible for discounted registration fees to the September and December Meetings and the Annual Securities Operations Summit, where much of the collaborative work takes place.
- Members may exhibit at the Annual Securities Operations Summit at a discounted rate.
Each firm chooses a Primary and Secondary Steering Representative, who acts as the liaison between ISITC and their firm. The Primary Steering Representative is responsible for the following:
- Encourage firm's active participation within ISITC Working Groups, Forums and Initiatives, and projects that your firm considers important.
- Provide the one (1) vote on behalf of the member firm on issues submitted by the Board of Directors, such as Board Ballots, and association matters.
- Renewal of the firm’s membership on a calendar year basis.
- Maintenance of the firm’s membership list via the online Member Center, including accepting or declining individual members within your firm.
