How long have you been active with ISITC?
I have been active with ISITC since 2023.

What boards, working groups, etc. do you / have you participated in at ISITC?
I’ve actively been part of the Sustainability & Diversity forum (as well as its subgroup Emerging Professionals) and have participated with the Technology forum in the past.

What do you consider to be the top benefits of being active in ISITC?
ISITC provides a great way to stay connected with the industry and with industry professionals. It’s a fantastic organization where members encourage one another to grow and develop professionally while being empowered to raise questions, concerns, and/or solutions on various industry rules/regulations. ISITC has only had a positive impact on my growth.

What is your role at MFS Investment Management?
As Senior Business Systems Analyst for the Investment Operations Post Trade Processing team, my goal is to serve as a bridge between Business and Technology. Much of this work involves delivering complex technological solutions that meet the business’ needs while staying in-compliance with industry regulations. It also includes understanding the business problems and/or inefficiencies and then translating them into viable and sustainable solutions.

What do you find most exciting about your current focus at MFS Investment Management?
Being able to collaborate and come to a solution is genuinely so exciting. There have been many challenging projects, but there is something electric about coming together and solving what initially seems like an “impossible” puzzle together.

What’s the most impactful career advice you received?
“You grow the most when you’re on the edge of comfort and discomfort.” Something may seem scary or daunting, and it may very well be true, but the only way you can grow is to push yourself to do it. This piece of advice has launched me to always strive for something bigger.

Do you have a personal philosophy by which you live your life?
“Just try your best.” My dad has always told me this growing up. If you have sincerely tried your best at something, there is nothing more left to do. You cannot do more than your best. You will learn from it, and you will improve from it, and that will raise the bar for your best as you go through life.
