ISITC (The International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication), the industry trade group focused on standards in transaction processing and related communications, has announced at its 19th ISITC Annual Industry Forum and Vendor Show that Taylor S. Bodman, Partner in Charge of Asia and Supervising Partner for Technology at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), has been recognized with the ISITC Standard of Excellence Award. The Standard of Excellence Award recognizes individuals who have both made a significant contribution to the industry and rendered exceptional service to ISITC, which is supported through the voluntary services of industry professionals. Mr. Bodman was selected as the recipient of this annual award due to his continued commitment and work for the organization since its inception. Mr. Bodman has been one of ISITC?s biggest supporters for almost two decades as a conference participant, keynote speaker and vocal industry advocate for the advancement of ISITC issues. Mr. Bodman?s greatest contribution includes recruiting a strong and steady stream of BBH executives who have joined and chaired ISITC committees. ISO 20022 is among many specific ISITC initiatives to benefit from Mr. Bodman?s active support and encouragement. He credits his passion for ISITC to the organization?s reputation for being a leader in the industry from the start. He refers to ISITC as a ?forum to get your hands dirty, put politics aside and get out in front to improve industry collaboration ? even where there may be entrenched interests.?
