March 26, 2019 – Boston, MA – ISITC, the industry trade group focused on developing standards and best practices in financial services operations, announced Genevy Dimitrion, Senior Vice President and Chief Data Steward at State Street’s Enterprise Data Governance and Management group, as the recipient of the ISITC Standard of Excellence Award. The award was presented to Dimitrion on March 25th at ISITC’s 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit.
The Standard of Excellence Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the industry and rendered exceptional service to ISITC, which is supported by the voluntary services of industry professionals. Dimitrion was selected as the recipient of the award due to her many achievements in driving the industry forward during her time with ISITC.
Since joining the ISITC in 1994, Dimitrion has been an active member of the organization; she served as ISITC chair from 2008-2009 and board member from 2001-2014. Currently, Dimitrion acts as an advisor to the ISITC board, consulting on a variety of strategic initiatives. As a member of EDM Council’s Board of Directors, she also initiated a partnership between EDM Council and ISITC, which has benefited both groups as they share complementary industry expertise and collaborate on similar initiatives. Widely recognized as a leading expert on financial services standards and Data, Dimitrion regularly presents on thought leadership at high-profile industry events. Her contributions to the industry have led to the publication of several global market practices and recommendations used today by ISITC members and State Street’s clients.

The Standard of Excellence Award recipient is chosen annually by a committee of select ISITC board members, led by Jan E. Snitzer, past chair.
