ISITC Announces SWIFT’s David Scola as Featured Speaker for 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit

SWIFT North America Head to share insights on the technology trends reshaping the financial services industry

March 6, 2019 – Boston, MA – ISITC, the industry trade group focused on developing standards and best practices in financial services operations, announced David Scola, Head of North America, SWIFT, as one of the featured speakers at its 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit. Scola’s session will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the InterContinental in Boston, MA.

In his session “Technology Trends in Financial Services: Enabling Change & Transformation,” Scola will explain how firms can utilize transformative technologies to remain competitive and relevant. During this interactive discussion, Scola will speak with senior leaders across the financial services industry to assess future threats and opportunities, and empower attendees to develop their own strategies based on the reality of technology-driven disruption.

As SWIFT’s Head of North America, David is responsible for key client relationships and business development across the region with a focus on driving growth in global payments innovation. Prior to joining SWIFT, David served as the Global Head of Financial Institutions of Corporate Banking at Barclays London. Previously, he held senior positions at Deutsche Bank and Bank of New York in product management and strategy across various transaction banking products, including custody, corporate trust, cash, trade, and liquidity.
