Wendy Mailot recently retired after a 25-year career at MFS Investment Management where she served as a Vice President and Senior Director in the Global Technology and Investment Operations Department. During her time at MFS she has supported all facets of the asset management business including operations, investments, trading, compliance and fund treasury. She has worked on ESG and Sustainability projects since 2010 when MFS became a signatory to the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investing.
In addition, Wendy is a strong advocate for diversity within the financial services industry. She was a founder of Pride@MFS, the ERG for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. She was also on the executive board for Women Everywhere, as well as a member of the Young Professionals Network, Mosaic and Neurodiversity ERGs. She has volunteered with numerous charitable organizations including BAGLY, Boston Pride for the People, Community Servings, Cradles to Crayons and the Greater Boston Foodbank. She is a strong believer in making the financial services industry open and welcoming for everyone.
Wendy originally joined ISITC in 2004 when she worked on trade processing and settlement systems and was a member of the Settlements Working Group. In 2021 she took a leadership role as co-chair of the ESG forum. In 2024, she led the charge for the creation of the Diversity and Sustainability Forum, as well as the Technology Forum. She currently serves as co-chair of the Diversity and Sustainability Forum.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University and a Master of Arts in Political Science and Comparative Politics from Northeastern University. She is also a certified Scrum Master.
