Aruna Parthiban serves as a Senior Vice President within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she is part of the leadership team overseeing the firm’s Bank Relationship Management & Market Strategy Group. In this capacity, responsibility is held for defining market engagement strategy across the asset management organization and strengthening alignment with global banking partners, market‑infrastructure providers, and strategic vendors.

Since joining Goldman Sachs in 2004, Ms. Parthiban has held leadership roles spanning post‑trade operations, counterparty risk oversight, expense management, and relationship management across brokers, fund administrators, and custodians. She played a foundational role in establishing the Investment Management Operations Summit (IMOS) in 2013 and scaling it into a leading regional forum with more than thirty participating firms.

Her remit includes stewardship of large‑scale post‑trade modernization initiatives, where she leads cross‑functional programs focused on operational resiliency, ecosystem alignment, and modernization of end‑to‑end processes. As a senior escalation point for critical service‑provider and counterparty interactions, she ensures oversight, continuity, and strengthened governance across the firm’s operational touchpoints.

Ms. Parthiban represents Goldman Sachs Asset Management at several industry bodies. She serves on the ISITC Board of Directors and is an active member of the SIFMA AMG Operations Committee, contributing to industry‑wide operating model reforms and post‑trade standards. She also participates in market‑infrastructure and vendor advisory groups, including the DTCC CSAC regional advisory forum and FIA product and technology advisory councils, supporting modernization efforts and industry coordination.

Beyond her formal committee roles, she serves as an ambassador for Women in Financial Markets (WIFM), supporting the advancement and visibility of women in the financial services sector. She has additionally contributed to the firm’s internal talent and leadership agenda through her involvement on the Operations Women’s Network SteerCo, advocating for pathways that elevate diverse leadership within the global operations community.

Her work continues to focus on strengthening operational excellence, advancing market‑wide collaboration, and shaping the future of post‑trade infrastructure across the investment ecosystem.
