The Capital Cycle

Rob Almeida’s session will explore the shift in investor focus from the economic cycle to the more critical capital cycle. He highlights how the capital cycle of the 2010s, while yielding high profits, contributed minimally to economic growth. In contrast, the capital cycle of the 2020s is expected to deliver better economic growth but with lower profits, leading to very different financial market outcomes compared to the past 15 years.

US Treasury Repo Clearing: Current State & Build-Out Requirements for the Next Year
