Emerging Professionals
Emerging Professionals is a subgroup of the Sustainability & Diversity Forum.
OVERVIEW
The financial services industry is evolving rapidly, and to stay at the forefront of changes it is critical we continually engage new talent and diverse perspectives. As part of ISITC’s mission to improve operational effectiveness across the financial sector, the Emerging Professionals was developed as a subgroup under the Sustainability & Diversity Forum.
The Emerging Professionals will serve as an inclusive platform for:
- Professionals new to the industry who are looking for ways to be more engaged, make connections, and learn about the industry.
- Professionals who have been in the industry for several years and are seeking growth or diversification in their career.
- Professionals who have taken a career break (e.g., for personal reasons, caregiving, or a career change) and are looking to return to the financial services industry with fresh perspectives.
PURPOSE
The Emerging Professionals subgroup aligns with ISITC’s core values of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By bringing together a diverse group of professionals who share the values of engagement and industry participation, an opportunity for knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and fresh ideas is created that will help us better address industry challenges and foster a more inclusive financial services community.
The strength of our industry lies not only in the expertise of seasoned professionals, but also in the emerging talent. By fostering these connections, we can bridge gaps, encourage cross-pollination of ideas, and prepare our industry for the future.
EXPECTED BENEFITS
- For Emerging Professionals: Participants will gain access to a network of industry experts, gain practical skills through targeted education, and have a voice in shaping the future of the financial services industry.
- For ISITC: ISITC members will benefit from the insights and contributions of a diverse group of professionals, helping to address key industry pain points with fresh perspectives and solutions. The Emerging Professionals subgroup will also o􀆯er opportunities for members to share their knowledge through educational and mentorship opportunities, providing learning opportunities along the way.
- For the Industry: By creating a more inclusive space for emerging professionals, we are fostering a stronger, more resilient industry that is better equipped to adapt to future challenges.
