Michael joined State Street in 2014 and is currently a global derivatives product manager in the Investment Servicing Global Product division. As a product manager he is responsible for helping to define and build a robust technology and service offering for end-to-end derivative processes across State Street.
Prior to joining State Street, Michael was a vice president in Bank of New York (BNY) Mellon’s Derivative 360 (D360) business unit. There he worked as a senior derivatives product specialist with oversight of sales support and new business implementation of various D360 clients. He was also responsible for product expansion and industry awareness for derivatives at BNY Mellon.Â
Michael is the currently an executive board member and vice chair at ISITC, where he is also the executive sponsor of the Derivatives and Collateral working groups. He is also a member of International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) FpML Governance Committee, ISDA Equity Infrastructure Committee, and the ANNA DSB Product Committee.
Michael began his career at Mellon Bank NA in the Derivatives Operations group. He also spent a year and a half with Citigroup’s World Wide Securities Services (WWSS) group in global fund accounting, before returning to Mellon’s Derivative Services group where he held various senior management roles in derivative operations.
Michael received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from St. Vincent College, Latrobe and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
