Reference Data & Standards

The Reference Data & Standards Working Group advances critical discussion on issues impacting financial instrument and market participant reference data within the trade lifecycle and works with other industry groups and participants in developing and promoting market practice standards.

Recent Accomplishments

• Successfully organized a presentation on ‘Private Markets and the Role of Reference Data’ at the Fall Forum in Baltimore in September 2025.
• Successfully organized a presentation on ‘Intro – Digital Assets / Tokenization in the RD&S Space’ at the ISITC Operations Summit in March 2026.
• Three new additional Co-Chairs were introduced in November 2025 and welcomed to the group at the ISITC Operations Summit in March.
• RD&S Executive Sponsor Matthew Schill is leading an ISITC webinar on ‘ Tokenized Assets & Corporate Actions’ in June 2026.

 Current Initiatives

• RD&S Working Group recurring meeting cadence to be established.
• Continue to recruit new members to join the RD&S Working Group calls and email distribution list.
• Elicit feedback from the broader group to cover RD&S topics that are relevant to its members.
• Expand on the ‘Digital Assets / Tokenization’ topic at the upcoming ISITC Fall Forum in October 2026, including possible guest speaker(s).
