Carissa Warner is an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Securities Product Operations group where she is the Global Head of Operations Client Relationship Management (OCRM). In her capacity as Head of OCRM, she is responsible for developing and strengthening operational relationships with the firm’s top institutional clients. Her teams act as senior level escalation points for operational issues across products and functions and provide valuable industry and market information to clients. Carissa has recently developed a new team within OCRM responsible for Regulatory Outreach. This team works to educate clients on upcoming regulatory changes and ensures that their accounts and documentation on file are compliant.
Carissa joined Morgan Stanley in 2010, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in Operations. She began her career at Merrill Lynch where she performed and managed a variety of operations roles across multiple products and functions. She has also worked for Deutsche Bank and Bank of America where she helped create and then manage their North American OCRM teams. Carissa’s education and career provided her with opportunities to live in Japan, London, Hong Kong and Singapore. She’s a participant in SIFMA’s Asset Manager Forum and is a volunteer editor for Reach the World, a non-profit organization that pairs study abroad students with inner city classrooms to teach children about geography and inspire them to travel and explore.
Carissa holds a B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Lehigh University. She studied abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan where she earned a Certificate of Merit in Japanese language and International Business.
