ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
In the recent film, Wall Street 2, the main character, financier Gordon Gekko says, “If there’s one thing I learned in prison it’s that money is not the prime commodity in our lives… time is.” For the past 17 years, the ISITC organization has strived to make the best use of our members’ time. ISITC is dedicated to serving the global securities industry, having established a forum for representatives throughout the industry to meet and discuss ways to improve efficiencies in securities processing and communication standards.
 
This year’s ISITC 17th Annual Industry Forum and Vendor Show is dedicated to exploring what has become known as, “The New Reality” in the financial industry. This “New Reality” is comprised of the most recent challenges in processing global securities and includes the operational effects of new regulation, the impact of cost reductions, requirements for risk mitigation, the renewed demand for transparency, and the use of new technologies and channels such as mobile devices and social networking.
 
Each of these topics will be covered in a single event and will be analyzed and discussed by industry experts. Not only will attendees gain a deeper understanding of these issues but will also acquire new methods for identifying and addressing the components of “The New Reality” in their own firms.
 
ISITC is very proud and fortunate to have as this year’s keynote speaker Mr. William Cohan, investigative journalist, renowned industry speaker, and best-selling author of House of Cards and The Last Tycoons.
